Ginza Area


Description Ginza is home to some of the most prestigious and upscale shopping and entertainment centers. It is also a district which is known for its dining and restaurants. Literally translated into “Silver Mint”, it was the home to the silver coin minting center in the 1600s. Being destroyed by a fire, it has been completely rebuilt. Places of interest are the Waco Building, The Mitsukoshi Department Store and the Nissan Gallery. If you are looking for some upscale luxury, this is the place for it.


Description Hibiya is the center for government offices and for many corporate offices. Being the quiet among the storm of business, it houses the famous Hibiya park which is a great place to sit and find some serenity. A place which is known for recreation and relaxation, it allows the people in the area to find some downtime from the hustle and bustle of the busy city center. It is serviced by the Hibiya Station which is an underground station in Chiyoda Ward.


Description Literally meaning “Urakusai City” it houses the DN Tower 21 which is a governmental building which has great historical significance. It is also home to many corporate powerhouses. It is also home to the Yurakucho center Building, the Hibiya Mitsueand the Shin Yurakucho building. All serviced by the Yurakucho station which is underground and has many restaurants and neighborhood bars. There are also many shopping centers where you can find things such as electronics and videos.
