Shinjuku Area

Shinjuku

Description Shinjuku is home to one of the largest and busiest train stations in the world. One of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, it is home to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building and many of the administrative buildings comprising the government of Japan. It is a highly densely populated area and is serviced by many public transit lines. Many different neighborhoods comprise this ward which is why there are many areas of interest and attractions located in the area.

Yoyogi

Description Yoyogi is a neighborhood that is located in the Northern part of the city of Yoyogi. It is defined by the village that it was named for and housing many attraction. Made from ten different districts, there are many visitor areas and areas of interest. Many learning educations and universities are located in the area, making it a cultural area for all those who reside there. Located in the heart of it all are many transit lines.

Okubo

Description Is famous for its large Korean population. It is a neighborhood which is built around the Shin-okubo station which is along the Yamanote line. Signs around the city are written in both Japanese and English to accommodate the influx of immigrants. It is one of the most expensive places to live. Founded by the Director of the Korean Chamber of Commerce it still caters to that population. Located in the area are over 500 different businesses.
